Last night the John watched the worst television ever produced. It was so bad that even the fact that it was about women taking their clothes off could not distract me from the sheer catastrophe playing itself out before my eyes - live on screen.
The tagline for the new reality show on DSTV's actionX channel is like Idols only better. And that I am afraid is where the mediocrity begins.
Lolly Jackson's new show Stripteaze is terrible - wait scratch that it's terrible, appalling, awful, dreadful, fearful, frightful, ghastly, horrendous, horrible, shocking, abominable, alarming, appalling, atrocious, bad, deplorable, depressing, dire, disgusting, distressing, dreadful, fearful, frightful, ghastly, grody, gross, gruesome, grungy, harrowing, hideous, horrendous, horrible, horrific, horrifying, nasty, offensive, raunchy, repulsive, shocking, stinking, synthetic, tough, ugly, unpleasant, unsightly, abhorrent, atrocious, awful, base, beastly, contemptible, cursed, deplorable, despicable, detestable, disgusting, execrable, foul, grim, hairy, hateful, heinous, hellish, horrible, loathsome, lousy, nasty, nauseating, obnoxious, odious, offensive, repellent, reprehensible, repugnant, repulsive, revolting, rotten, sleazeball, stinking, terrible, very bad, vile and wretched.
So to sum up I don't like it. I mean I, like any other straight man, enjoy seeing a woman take her clothes off even when I have to pay to do so but that happens behind closed doors and only when I chose to see it.
But John you don't have to watch you'll argue. And the John will agree but then remind you of car wrecks and the silly way people behave about them.
To be honest it's not the content that offends me. Production wise this thing is at the bottom of the pile (of shit).
Christina Storm - like a young child should be seen and not heard - and as for Lolly? Well lets just say West Rand gangster will never be chic - gold chains or no gold chains.
My favourite part of the evening though came when Taylor also from the West Rand, who describes herself as tall and busty, rubbed her crotch - twice. I convulsed or as my facebook friends would say I lolled!
